Although this website is dedicated to window treatments, it has a wealth of information and sewing tutorials that can also be applied to quilting. Under "Basics", check out the instructions for Binding & Piping, Mitering, and Stitches for some useful information. You will find instructions under "Bedding" for duvet covers, pillowcases, fitted shets, etc. Pretty handy. Don't stop there - even though not strictly quilting related, every single section has interesting tutorials that you will surely find of use in your home.
